General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Offers/Orders

Jenny's custom cakes and more strives to deliver quality products to its customers. Priority is customer satisfaction.

The products listed on www.jennyscustomcakes.ch and  socialmediaplatforms and their details, description and. if applicable, prices are without guarantee.

We reserve the right to deviate in colour, aroma and taste due to the influence of the food used.

Catalog cakes, cupcakes, etc. must be ordered at least 5 days in advance, individually decorated cakes, cupcakes, etc. should be ordered from me at least 14 days in advance.

Wedding cakes must be ordered at least 30 days in advance.

Orally agreed orders must be confirmed via WhatsApp or email to be valid. This is to avoid misunderstandings

2. Minimum Order Quantities

Cakes: From 8 people

Cupcakes: 12 pieces

Mini Cupcakes: 24 pieces

Cake pops: 15 pieces

Macarons: 15 pieces

3. Payment/Delivery and Collections

The ordered goods can be picked up and paid for directly by arrangement in Erlenweg 41, 3178 Bösingen.

The order must be paid for in cash or with Twint. .

Deliveries are also paid for by Twint or cash upon delivery. 

I also offer deliveries within a radius of up to 30 km around Bösingen, at an additional CHF 1.50 per km round trip. The calculation of Google Maps is used for this.

In exceptional cases, I will be happy to send you an invoice, which you will receive with the delivery. Payment must be made within 10 days.

For larger orders, an advance payment can be requested.

4. Cancellations

Orders for customized cupcakes and cakes must be canceled in writing 5 days before the delivery or collection date. Later cancellations will be charged at 100%. I reserve the right to fully charge for any costs for materials that were specifically organized or modeled for the customer.

5. Shipping and Packaging

Cakes, cupcakes or other desserts will not be shipped. 

You can order cake toppers and simple modellages from me, which I can send to you by post.

All parcels and letters are sent via Swiss Post and will be delivered in the following days (except Saturdays/Sundays).

The shipping of cake topper costs 2 CHF

The shipping of modellages costs 7 CHF

I send the goods by B Mail, on request I can also send them by A Mail for an additional charge.

The modeling and the cake toppers are carefully packed by me. 

I take no responsibility if the product arrives damaged.

7. Serving and Storage

Because all my products are made from fresh, natural ingredients, I recommend enjoying CakePops, CupCakes, etc. fresh.

If you still want to store the product, put it in a cool place (packaged in the refrigerator) and consume it within 3 days.

8. Allergy Advice

Note that eggs, flour and dairy products are used in my creations. In addition, traces of nuts can always be present, even with the greatest care in production. If you suffer from lactose intolerance or have another intolerance or food allergy, you should definitely let me know before ordering. We would be happy to see what is possible together. 
For production reasons, I cannot make gluten-free creations. 
Any liability due to allergic reactions or intolerances is rejected.

9. Rent Etagère, dessert plates

With your order you have the opportunity to rent various cake stands, cake stands and candy bar trolleys. Depending on the size, these costs range from CHF 20.00 to CHF 150.00. A deposit of CHF 100 must be left when picking up the order. This is fully refundable if the rental items are returned clean and intact within 3 days. If I have to pick up the rental items, the travel costs (there and back) will be deducted from the depot. In the event of a late return, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

Returns by post are not possible.

9. Special Provisions for Wedding Cakes

Fees and claims which are charged to   by catering companies, restaurants or venues for plate service, turnover fees etc. are not part of this contract and are to be paid by the customer forwarded or must be taken over directly   by the customer

 Tastings / meetings / reservation fees

​

Tastings are usually discussed beforehand and the customer receives a tasting box on the agreed date, which he can taste at home. The boxes are picked up by the customer. On request, a tasting can also be arranged in the studio.

If the customer does not show up for a meeting or tasting without canceling the appointment,   the customer will be charged a flat rate of at least CHF 100.​

​

If a contract is not concluded after a meeting with a tasting, I request a fee of at least CHF 100.- 

For wedding cakes, cupcake towers and candy tables with an order value of less than CHF 400, I ask CHF 50 for the personal discussion and the tasting. If the price of the ordered goods is more than 400.00, the amount will be deducted from the invoice.

10. Data Protection 

I use personal information such as name and address exclusively for internal purposes (orders).

Data will only be passed on to third parties who are responsible for the execution or payment of the order, such as the post office for deliveries or a debt collection agency in the event of non-payment.

Our partners delete the customers' personal data as soon as they are no longer required and in any case after the legally prescribed maximum retention period has expired. All personal data will be treated confidentially.

Jenny's custom Cakes and more reserves the right to use and/or publish images of the wedding cakes, cupcakes, sweet table, etc. made by Jenny's custom Cakes and more for promotional purposes (website, social media, etc.).

11. Final Provisions

​

Jenny's custom cakes and more reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. Changes come into effect when they are changed/posted on the site.
